These terms cover your use of the Purlmark app. Apple's own Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies as well; where the two differ on a point Apple's agreement covers, Apple's wins.
Purlmark is a row counter and pattern reader. The free app counts rows for one project and reads patterns you paste, with no time limit and no advertising.
Purlmark Pro is a single purchase, not a subscription. It opens:
It is bought once through the App Store and stays with your Apple Account. If you reinstall Purlmark or move to a new iPhone, tap Restore a purchase. There is nothing to cancel, because there is nothing recurring.
Projects you already made stay open to you even if your Pro status ever changes. Purlmark does not take back work you have already done.
Purlmark reads patterns written the way knitting patterns are usually written. It will not understand every pattern ever printed. Where it cannot read a row, it says so rather than guessing.
The gauge calculator does arithmetic on the numbers you type in. It cannot know whether your swatch was measured accurately, or whether your tension changes once you are past the swatch.
Purlmark is a counting tool, not a guarantee about your knitting. Check the pattern in front of you. If Purlmark and your pattern disagree, the pattern is right.
Your patterns, photos and notes are yours. Purlmark stores them on your device and claims no rights over them. See the Privacy Policy.
If you paste in a pattern you bought, that pattern still belongs to its designer under whatever licence you bought it under. Purlmark does not give you any additional right to copy or share it.
Purchases are made through the App Store, so refunds are Apple's to give. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.
Purlmark is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for knitting that comes out the wrong size, for a pattern read incorrectly, or for data lost because a device was lost, broken, or reset without a backup.
Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement. In Korea, where the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions applies, any clause that would unfairly limit those rights does not apply.
